Hack ChatGPT to teach you a new language with every chat

Ever thought of turning your daily AI interactions into language lessons? With this simple tweak, you can turn ChatGPT into your bilingual buddy.

Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Head over to ChatGPT and click on your radiant profile picture.

  2. Click on "Custom Instructions" to open up the dialogue box.

  3. In the second box, ask ChatGPT to always respond in both English and your chosen language, say Portuguese.

From then on, every answer you get will be a mini language lesson. "Thank you" becomes "Thank you / Obrigado".

Over time, with consistent interaction, you'll start recognizing words, phrases, and even sentence structures. Soon you’ll be ordering "pastéis de nata" in Lisbon with confidence.

… AI-driven urban planning that suggests city layouts to maximize green spaces based on residents' mental well-being?
