If you fear AI, read this

If you've seen headlines or social media hooks shouting at you that AI will take over your job and you'll end up poor in the streets if you don't use AI right now this minute, we have a message for you:

Take a deep breath.

These people are wrong.

The AI industry is buzzing, and not always for the right reasons. Headlines and posts like "100 new killer AI tools" or "goodbye professionals in this industry" or even "this tool will change everything" have only created an unfavorable and unsustainable hype.

Alarmist headlines have painted AI in two extreme lights: a villain to be feared and a savior that'll fix everything overnight.

The truth might be something in the middle.

While there's no denying the disruptive potential of AI, it's essential to remember that true innovation and adoption take time. We're on the brink of a significant shift, but like any profound change, there will be a learning curve. Which means that whichever industry you’re in, there’s still a huge opportunity to learn how to use AI to your advantage. Without the hype or the fear.

So, if anybody is singing the AI doom song, cover your ears and run the other way.

Question for you: What's your biggest hope or fear when it comes to AI?

Ever wondered why it's called "pulp" style?

It's not because it's juicy like orange pulp! These zesty magazines got their name from the cheap, wood pulp paper they were printed on. And they were the talk of the town!
